Are you getting ready to sell your home? Are you getting ready to buy a new home? It’s always exciting when you are getting ready to start a new chapter of your life. And a new home is definitely a part of that.
Even with how exciting moving to a new home or a new area might be, everyone can agree that it is also incredibly stressful. That’s because the unknown is scary. But that’s okay.
We are here to help take some of that stress and fear off of your hands. Our business is all about helping you. With some help from our South Bradenton property appraiser, you will have one less thing to worry about.

Need A South Bradenton Property Appraiser?
There is so much to worry about when buying or selling a home. Even with the help of your realtor, there is still so much to be done. Preparation, open houses, paperwork, cleaning, boxing, fixing, appointments, physically moving, storage units, the list just goes on.
So why do we do it? Why do we put ourselves through this kind of stress?
Because the reward of finding that new place to call home is so incredible. Finding that perfect house with the wrap-around porch you’ve always wanted, or the home that has just the right number of bedrooms for your growing family, or even the home that is in the perfect location for your career.
Whatever your dream may be, a home is almost always going to play a part in it.
We know just how high the stakes are when it comes to buying and selling a home. It’s more than just a property or a building. A home has the ability to change your life for the better.
And all of your hopes and dreams can come down to one appraisal.
For example, what if you are house hunting and you finally find your dream home. It’s in the perfect neighborhood, close enough to your work, and checks everything off your “must-have” list.
However, it is priced right at the top of your pre-approved loan amount. You talk to your mortgage lender and put in an offer on the home that is at the very top of what you can afford.
The sellers accept your offer and the closing process begins. Then something unexpected happens. The appraisal comes back stating that the home is worth more than it was originally listed for. Now the sellers want to up the price and your mortgage lender won’t go any higher on your mortgage loan amount.
All of a sudden your perfect home slips right through your fingers. Now, what if you found out the appraiser made a mistake? Accidentally valued the home for higher than what it’s worth because of a simple miscalculation.
Their “simple mistake” crushes your dream. This is just one of many examples of why an appraisal is so important and is not to be taken lightly. Here at R.E. Appraisal Associates, we understand what is at stake.
We take great care when it comes to valuing properties. Our certified South Bradenton property appraiser is an expert when it comes to valuing properties here in Southwest Florida. We understand accuracy is the most important part of an appraisal. And we will give you the most accurate appraisal possible.

What Does an Appraisal Cost?
So what does an appraisal cost anyway? Well, it really depends on the property. For obvious reasons, the larger and more intricate the property, the more an appraisal will cost. There are some other things that can influence your appraisal price as well.
The best way to estimate what your appraisal will cost is with our free appraisal estimator. Just answer some questions about your property and the estimator tool will calculate how much your appraisal will be. Remember it is just an estimate, but the more accurate you are with your answers the more accurate the estimate will be.
It is also completely free and there are no obligations tied into using our appraisal quote tool. It truly is completely free for you to use.
R.E. Appraisal Services:
We offer two appraisal services for our clients. Take a look at both and decide which sounds like a better fit for you.
In-Person Appraisals
Our in-person appraisal is just our old-school, standard service. We will schedule an appointment with you in which the appraiser will come to the home. They will need to walk around the entire property to take a look at everything.
They will need access to all rooms (including storage areas), as well as outside of the property (including boathouses, garages, etc.)
Taking pictures is a common practice, this allows the appraiser to look back at certain things to provide a more accurate appraisal.
Virtual Appraisals
Our online or ‘virtual’ appraisals are a great option for those who have more hectic schedules. They work just like our standard appraisals do with the exception of being done via video call.
You can simply use your phone, tablet, etc, to walk us around the property, allowing us to see everything through video. We will still need to see all rooms, including storage, as well as the outside of the house and around the property.
If you want to learn more about the appraisal process, what an appraisal is like, or just wanted to schedule an appointment, give us a call today at (941) 743-3700.
