Services
In-Home Walk-Through
For an in-home walk-through our appraiser will schedule a time to come to the home. While there the appraiser will take a look around the entire property. That includes around the outside of the house as well as any sheds or unattached buildings. They will also need to take a look at any storage areas including attics, basements (if your home has one), crawl spaces, or closets.
They will take pictures to document the property to use during their final appraisal analysis.
Virtual Walk-Through
We also offer a virtual option. It is actually very easy to conduct an online walk-through. Our appraiser will set up a meeting time with you in which they will use a video call to virtually walk around the property with you. We will then ask you to take pictures around the property using a camera or the camera on your phone. Then send the photos to our appraiser and they will use that information from you to accurately appraise your property.

What Is the Difference Between a Lee County Tax Assessor and a Property Appraiser?
There is actually a big difference between a tax assessor and a property appraiser. A tax assessors job is only used to figure out the value of the property strictly for tax purposes. Because of this, the tax assessment is more of an educated guess as opposed to a property appraiser. An appraiser will conduct an in depth analysis and use the most up to date market trends to determine what the true value of the home is.
